PROJECT AND WORK ORGANISATION

WP1 Overall architecture and business analysis

Starting from a state-of-the-art study on communication and intelligent systems related to IoT, this WP establishes the overall technical foundation and R&D roadmap for the technical work packages (2-5) by defining the project requirements through selected use cases and specifying the overall IEoT architecture on a high level. WP1 will also propose business case studies in order to demonstrate the economic viability of the proposed solutions.

WP2-WP4 Intelligent adaptive wireless mobile IoT edge platform, Intelligent three-tier Edge-IoT data and service architecture, and Intelligent secure and privacy-preserving Edge-IoT technologies

These Work Packages will target the implementation of the various components of the IEoT architecture specified in WP1. After a detailed specification of the components, each WP will focus on implementing and unitary testing the different components in the overall architecture.

WP5 Integration, validation & demonstration

The goal of this Work Package is threefold. First, it will survey the existing tools and platforms provided by project partners and third parties. Then it will generate the missing tools allowing measuring Quality of Experience, security, privacy and efficiency. These tools will be used to along the project to demonstrate the progress by providing evaluation tools. Second, it will build demonstrators based on the technologies developed in WP2, WP3 and WP4. Third, these demonstrators will be used for tests and measurements.

WP6 Dissemination & exploitation

The main objective of WP6 is to activate the tasks that provide a foundation for the subsequent exploitation of the results obtained by the IEoT project and to coordinate the dissemination and standardisation activities derived from project results. More details on the objectives, methodologies and concrete actions for dissemination and exploitations are reported in WP6 task descriptions.

WP7 (Project management)

This Work package regroups all the tasks dealing with the project organisation and monitoring (including technical follow-up) and the relationship with the CELTIC office and national bodies.
